Our services are designed to facilitate interaction between you and other DeJoy users in new ways, including direct messaging and various customized spaces (referred to as "Spaces"). Additionally, our services may include access to specific software, features, and content, including the ability to purchase digital or physical goods through our or other developers' applications. Specific terms may apply to these purchases.
By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and meet the minimum age requirements set by the laws of your country/region. If you have reached the legal age but have not yet attained the age to independently consent to this agreement, your parents or legal guardians must agree to these terms on your behalf. We recommend that you read this agreement together with your parents or legal guardians. If you are a parent or legal guardian and permit your children (who must meet the minimum age requirements in your country/region) to use our services, these terms also apply to you, and you will be fully responsible for your children's actions within the service, including their purchases.
DeJoy serves as an entry point from Web2 to Web3, and is an engaging social fan management platform. It was established to create a platform that allows friends to easily transition from Web2 to the Web3 world for online communication, socializing, and entertainment, innovatively implementing a decentralized instant messaging protocol based on a consumer-grade decentralized general blockchain network. Our digital spaces--rooms for fan organization management--enable you to connect with other DeJoy users and communities. Users primarily interact through "Spaces," which consist of various types of "Rooms" that you can customize. DeJoy supports multiple message types for encrypted peer-to-peer communication: text messages allow users to communicate via text, images, GIFs, emojis, and other uploadable media; voice messages support real-time voice and/or video communication; application card messages support sharing and browsing of MiniApps, DApps, Bots, URLs, and more.
Users can create their own Spaces and freely choose which Spaces and friends to join. All users must adhere to our community guidelines and other relevant policies. Within a Space, the Space owner and administrators are responsible for setting permissions and rules, including membership requirements, the creation of custom roles, and the permissions of those roles within the Space. Space owners and administrators can also decide whether to make their Space public, publish invitation links on public websites, and enable community development and safety features, or add bots and other applications. These permissions may adjust as the Space grows.
To continuously access the services, you need to create a DeJoy account. You must provide a username, password, and contact information (such as an email address and/or phone number). In some cases, you may need to verify your account or provide additional information. For information on personal data privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for securing your account and agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use. We recommend using a strong password and only using it for your DeJoy account, along with enabling two-factor authentication.
You must always provide accurate information to DeJoy and ensure that your account-related information remains current. We will assume that any communication or related contact information received from your account was sent by you, and any purchases made through your account were completed by you.
"Your Content" as referenced in this agreement refers to all content you add to our services, including but not limited to text, links, MiniApps, DApps, Bots, GIFs, emojis, photos, videos, documents, or other media. If we introduce new ways for you to add content to the service, those will also be included.
You are not obligated to add content to the service. If you choose to add content, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to do so and for granting us the relevant licenses under this agreement, while ensuring your content is lawful. We do not take responsibility for any of your content, nor for how others use your content.
Our services allow users to add content in various ways, including direct messages, room messages, and interactions within small and large Spaces. Some Spaces may be larger, and if you share content within them, that content may be more easily accessible to a wider audience. For example, certain Spaces may have public permissions that are visible in the application's "Space Discovery" section, where anyone can join without an invitation link. Other Space owners may publish invitation links to their Spaces on public websites. These permissions are set by Space owners or administrators and may change over time. Please be aware of the environment in which you post content on DeJoy, familiarize yourself with the relevant Space permissions when joining and posting in a Space, and choose suitable Spaces, features, and settings for your content.
Your content belongs to you, but when using DeJoy, you grant us the corresponding licenses. Your content may be protected by certain intellectual property rights, which we do not own. Use, copy, store, distribute, and communicate your content in the manner you use the services (for example, we may store and display your content).
If you choose to let others view your content, publish, publicly display, or publicly perform your content (for example, if you post messages in certain Spaces, we may display or recommend those messages).
Monitor, modify, translate, and reformat your content (for example, we may adjust the size of images you post to fit mobile devices).
Re-license your content to ensure that our services function as intended (for example, so we can store your content with our cloud service providers).
We welcome your feedback about our services. By providing feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable license to use your feedback and ideas generated from it without any restriction, attribution, or compensation to you.
